Sunsites, AZ is a small, rural community nestled in the Sulfer Springs Valley near Willcox, AZ and Cochise Stronghold. T
he Whitewater Draw and Willcox Playa Wildlife Areas are just a short drive down the road either direction. The entire valley is surrounded by  the Coronado National Forest aka Sky Islands. The region is brimming with highly regarded sites, roads, and trails for migratory birding, scenic tours, wildlife observation, hiking, rock climbing, camping, and just relaxing.

Sunsites, AZ is situated approximately 1 hour and 20 minutes southeast of Tucson via Interstate-10. Sunsites was formed as a retirement community and is centered around a modest 18 hole golf course which is currently operated by local residents. Prices for golf here may be the lowest in the state. There are a couple of bars, a couple of restaurants, a couple of traditional convenience stores with limited grocery, and a health food store. Local meat, dairy, produce and nuts are sold at farms and stores throughout the region. Full service retail can be found in nearby Willcox, AZ.
